The children thoroughly enjoyed the problem solving day on Thursday. Part of the day consisted of each class undertaking a series of interactive maths challenges.
The mission for the juniors was to crack the code to stop the invasion of Robotrons.
The infants had to tidy up using their maths skills before the Queen arrived, to save the prince from being turned to stone!
It was a true adventure for the children involving practical, hands-on maths. It promoted team work, mathematical reasoning and problem solving in a fun way. Thank you very much to the PTFA for their generous contribution towards the cost of this event.
