Year R

Water Play

Measuring and comparing amounts using correct mathematical vocabulary- full, empty, more, less. We challenged ourselves and counted cups and recorded how many cups each container held.

Making patterns

Good for our fine motor control.

Outdoor play

The children had great fun outdoors in the mud garden. It began to hail and the children tried to catch the hailstones in buckets. Lots of excitement and discussion about what was happening.

Doubling Numbers

We have been doubling. We rolled a dice and gave the gingerbread men double the number of buttons.
