Year 5/6 London Residential 2016 – Day 2
After a night of sleep, varying numbers of hours, (as predicted!), all ate a hearty cooked breakfast. However, 20 minutes later the cries of, “Can I eat my sandwiches now?” could be heard!
We walked along the South Bank to the London Eye. Next stop the Sunken Egyptian City. Then on to The Golden Hinde, where we were all entertained by tales of Sir Francis Drake. Tate Modern proved to be an education and many have decided to take up a career in modern art. “Easy money,” said Sammy.
The day was finished off with The Lion King and a walk along The Embankment and a lit up St Paul’s Cathedral. They were tucked up safely in bed after a staggering 10.77miles (according to Mr Bullock’s Fitbit). And still another day to go…
