Love Reading Day
Mon 05 Feb 2024Every February, around St Valentine's day, we hold a 'Love Reading' day in school. This usually couples up with a visit from the Children's Bookshelf book sale. However this year, Children's Bookshelf are coming in on Weds 13th March - so mark it in your diary.
Last year's book was the wonderful Cat by Jackie Morris and we even had some gifts and a tweet from Jackie herself when she saw our children's beautiful work.
We are holding this year's Love Reading day on Friday 9th February and our whole school read this year is the classic 'Not now Bernard!' By David McKee. The book will be shared by all classes and we will be creating a 'monster' display showing the work from YR to Y6!
